Details Updated for 2009 Competent Solutions enhance their support services with a new online helpdesk, 'instant live support' and web based remote control software.

Each year Competent Solutions have taken advantage of the best in new technology to enhance their services to customers. This year is no exception.

Now users may log support tickets by simply sending an e-mail to helpdesk@competentsolutions.net and track the progress of the ticket to resolution using the online helpdesk. From the easy-to-use online console users can view open tickets, submit new tickets, browse the knowledge base, used the step-by-step trouble-shooter to find solutions for common problems, download manuals software and see news updates.

Proprietor John Williams says that "Users have always contacted us via email to report faults, the online helpdesk formalises this process and allows users to see our progress to resolution in real time. Some managers want to see information on all faults logged by their users the, now they can see the current status of all tickets and the history of those resolved. All this improves efficiency both for us, users and the organisations we support."

Also updated for 2009 is "live support online". This operates in the same way as online messaging applications such as MSN but with more security. Users taking advantage of this service click the link and receive an instant response from a Competent Solutions engineer.

The live support online is augmented by our new Web-based remote control software. Until now competent solutions engineers have connected directly to customer networks to conduct support. Updated for 2009 the web based remote support service, by simply logging into a website, allows a user to grant control of their PC to a Competent Solutions engineer. This is a much more mobile solution allowing Competent Solutions to support users anywhere they have an Internet connection.

John Williams reports that the new remote control software "opens up the opportunity for customers who have not dealt with us before to try our services and see the excellent level of support we offer". Companies can pay by credit card for support by the hour.
